Students receive a completion certificate from Carnegie Mellon University's Institute for Software Research (CMU-ISR) for each course in the series that is successfully completed.
- Leadership in a Cyber-Enabled World
- Cybersecurity - Threats, Myths, Realities
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals
CMU-ISR also awards the professional designation of Certified Cybersecurity Leader (CCL) to students who successfully complete all three courses in the series.
The Cybersecurity Leadership curriculum is designed for executives, managers, and staff in public and private sector organizations who want to gain an understanding of basic concepts and practices that are foundational to current approaches to cybersecurity, and the application of those concepts and practices to senior level planning and decision-making. No prior experience in cybersecurity is needed to complete the course series and earn the CCL professional designation.
